Rick Sams currently serves as the Senior Pastor. Rick Sams currently serves as the Senior Pastor. Pastor Rick and Joyce started their ministries at Alliance Friends Church on July 1, 1978. They have three grown children, Katie (Luke) Hertert, Eric (Katie) Sams, and Adam. Pastor Rick’s and Joyce’s deepest desire is to help people connect with Christ Jesus and with us, His church, the loving, living Body of Christ in the world today. They desire to make loving, life-giving disciples who will make other disciples in the 2 Timothy 2:2 pattern, fulfilling Jesus’ Great Command and Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 12:30-31; John 10:10).
