My passion is to share the love Christ through the avenue of sports because it transcends generations, races, economic divisions and cultures.

Annie has been attending Alliance Friends Church since 2008, and graduated from the University Of Mount Union in the Spring of 2011 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. A native of Darlington, PA, she went to Mount Union to pursue her degree, as well as continue her career as a javelin thrower for the college’s track and field team.

During her time at Mount Union, Annie was a two-time All-American in the event, and a four-time USTFCCCA Academic All-American. However, she views these accomplishments simply as opportunities to share her faith to others. She served as the college’s President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, and helped to organize many outreach events for the campus, such as Praise God in the Quad and Raider Relief.  She was also active at Alliance Friends Church, assisting in youth group and youth events, outreach, and basketball and soccer clinics.

Her passion is to share the love of Christ through the avenue of sports because it transcends generations, races, economic divisions and cultures.  She feels that because of its ability to unite individuals regardless of typical social barriers, it is an amazing opportunity to share the gospel message, and a great way to reach the lost, as well as disciple the believer. Annie plans to attend Malone University, beginning in the fall of 2012, and pursue a Master’s degree in Theological Studies.
