IN THE FOLLOWING MINISTRIES:
Pastoral
Care - for weddings, funerals, home and hospital visitation by trained
persons.
Stephen Ministry - a one-on-one caring ministry
for those going through a crisis or need counseling in marriage and family;
pre-marital, financial, and "life stresses." Referrals to Christian professional
psychologists are available.
Women's Ministries - WIM
(Women in Ministry), retreats, Bible studies, women�s luncheons, couples Bible
studies, Car Care Ministry for single women needing help.
Men's
Ministries - local and national work projects to aid disaster victims
through the Friends Disaster Service, sharing groups in nearby restaurants and
Bible studies for outreach and discipleship just for men, as well as studies for
couples, plus men's Sunday morning Prayer Breakfast, Men in Missions retreats,
and Promise Keepers, Car Care Ministry for men to help single women with their
car needs.
Student Ministry - Our goal is to provide an
environment where teens can experience the energized and full life found in
Christ. Many other events including concerts, retreats, camps, and service
projects fill the calendar as well.
F.R.O.G. (Fully Relying On
God) - Wednesday night children's program for ages 4 - grade 6 with
Chapel, Bible class, crafts, & recreation.
Music -
Adult & children's choir, small ensembles, cantatas, & a Contemporary
Worship team with 'Lava Loft' coffee house on the first Saturday of each
month.
Love In Action Ministry - to provide financial and
spiritual assistance in the form of utilities, moving, scholarships for
retraining, budget counseling, food, and furniture for those in our
congregation.
Special Events - communion, baptisms,
weddings, holiday celebrations, and Vacation Bible School.
Sports
& Recreation Ministry - softball, volleyball, basketball &
soccer teams. Children�s basketball & soccer clinics, Frisbee golf, wall
climbing, flag football, horseshoes and Fencing
classes
Library - wide variety of Christian books, video
and audio cassette tapes available for spiritual growth.
World
Mission - Alliance Missions Fellowship (for men and women), mission's
month, approximately one-fourth to one-third of our income goes toward
supporting outreach in over twelve countries and at home. We seek to stamp out
world hunger by supporting World Relief Inc.
Lay Ministries
- a host of serving opportunities are available according to your interests and
abilities. Our unique computer system helps match individual's interests with
opportunities and needs.
